The establishment of the Central Preparation Pharmacy Netherlands (Ceban).

Turbulent years for the group due to introduction of the preference policy

In the following years, the company invested heavily in digitisation, innovation and improving efficiency. The Pharmaself 24-hour medication dispensing device was introduced.

The investments in innovation are paying off, and in 2019 Bencis Capital Partners is stepping in as an investor to support further growth and internationalisation.

2020
Comsysco and Adchannel are acquired to strengthen the pharmacy automation. Also, PreventCare, specialised in home medication (currently Ceban Homecare) is acquired. At the end of 2020, the compounding pharmacy Dobfar in Meppel was acquired, now operating under the name Ceban Compounding.
2021
The first steps in internationalisation. The Belgian API distributor Magis Pharma Group and the Spanish Metapharmaceuticals were acquired. Ceban’s product range is also considerably expanded through the acquisition of Bipharma.
